GOLDFX is a philanthropic music band based in Geneva. The band is composed of members from diverse professional backgrounds. With a strong sense of responsibility and a shared love for music and jamming, they harmoniously blend their talents to create not just soulful melodies but also a collective force for good. Their soul-stirring performances at gigs are not just about captivating melodies; they are a means to support humanitarian causes. GOLDFX channels the proceeds from their concerts towards projects aimed at making a positive impact on society. With every chord they strike, GOLDFX showcases how the universal language of music can unite people and spread love while making a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

Our Story
It all began with Fex, a music-loving drummer boy named Jakob Fexer who had a desire to add some jazz to his life. Consequently, he made the decision to enroll in a music school in Geneva. As time passed, he found himself at his final graduation performance in March 2022, where he had connected with his fellow veteran Sunday soccer buddies Jesse (bass) and Marco (guitar).
He was later joined by his old-time buddies Martin (guitar) and Amanda, our lead singer, who came to support him with the gig.
Pickwick Pub was brimming with fellow veteran Sunday soccer buddies, friends, and family, eagerly awaiting their performance. And what a success it was! The crowd cheered and showered them with hugs, kisses, and congratulations. Afterward, they gathered for feedback, and that’s when Roland, another veteran Sunday soccer buddy, stepped in with some ideas. He became the designated manager of the band.
With the positive energy from the great performance and the wonderful atmosphere created by the people around, the idea of forming a band naturally evolved. We brainstormed various names and finally settled on one that resonated with us. Our love for jamming and playing music was undeniable, but as responsible individuals, we wanted to infuse our passion with a purpose.
Considering the troubled state of the world and the war in Ukraine, which is causing immense humanitarian consequences, we felt compelled to center our band around philanthropy. Our hope is that through our gigs, we could raise funds to support those in need. To us, every jamming session is worth it if it could make a positive impact on someone’s life.
